About Tesch Tables

Tesch Tables was born from the idea that custom, quality, sustainable outdoor furniture needn’t be expensive.

We collaborate with a group of local welders, powder coaters and timbersmiths. All materials and labour are kept local.

We don’t pay importers, retailers, leases or commissions to high-end retail spaces.

We have a strong track record, and have delivered tables, benches, and settings all across Melbourne. We’ve worked with landscapers and designers, and have even had a table setting featured in an award winning design at the Melbourne flower and garden show.

The way it works:

1 - Have a look at our website and instagram to get an idea on what you want for your outdoor table or setting.

2 - Get in touch to discuss your needs. We’ll ask questions about:

- Table Size - lengths (usually 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m, or 3m) and widths (usually 8.35m or 9.75m)

- Leg Design - which of our designs you’re after and which colour you’d like (usually black or white!)

- Timber character and tone - Do you love the look of gum vein and knots? Do you love an understated timber look? We use two main oil tints: warm gold, or a darker brown.

- Delivery requirements - what is the access to the space like? This will help us determine how many of our team we’ll need for delivery. For rooftops and tricky spaces we can even bring the tools and assemble on site.

We’ll then give you a quote!

3 - Let’s get started! Upon accepting the quote we ask for a 50% deposit then start making your table. For most jobs, we can deliver within 14 days.

4 - We deliver! We deliver to you and help place your table exactly where you want it. Then we make sure its sitting level on your deck, paving, or outdoor area - even if the ground isn’t level! We’ll teach you a little about timber care and maintenance, and even give you a jar of timber oil for you to use after 6 months of use. On delivery we ask for the final 50% payment.

5 - We’re here! We stand by our work. If your table has an unexpected issue, give us a call and we’ll sort it out. Otherwise, send us a photo of your table in use and get in touch any time you need advice about ongoing care of your table.

We work with local small businesses to create customised pieces.
